Welcome to Our New Look

We hope you enjoy the new look of our EmeasureUp newsletter. We expect you'll find the clean design easy to read and distinctive of the Honeywell brand you've come to trust. Above all, we hope the product profiles and application information serve to highlight why it makes perfect sense to rely on Honeywell for your critical sensing applications.

Explosion Protection: A Primer

Work in hazardous locations must be undertaken with the utmost care by persons who are thoroughly familiar with technical issues, insurance coverage, and code requirements-national, local, and, if appropriate, international.

Accordingly, this primer is intended only to provide an overview for the unfamiliar or a reminder for the experienced. Before undertaking work in hazardous locations, consult with engineering experts, either those within your own company or consultants.

When you're ready to buy, remember that Honeywell Sensotec carries thousands of sensors appropriate for use in hazardous locations. We also offer engineering support to help you design your installation and select the proper equipment. To go directly to our catalog, click here: http://www.sensotec.com/catpages.shtml

FP2000 Pressure Sensor offers Intrinsically Safety, Quick Delivery

Product 2

Honeywell Sensotec features the FP2000 series, which utilizes an assembly technique flexible enough to provide more than 20,000 different sensor configurations, yet deliver in just two weeks. The FP is a unique family of gage, absolute, vacuum, barometric, and differential pressure transducers which are individually configured based on the needs of your application when you place the order.

The FP2000 series offers a choice of 0.1% or 0.25% FS accuracy and pressure ranges from vacuum to 0-10,000 psi. In addition, six available pressure ports, three electrical terminations, and Outputs of 0-5 VDC, 0-10VDC, 4-20 mA (2-wire) or mV/V (3-wire) make this product extremely adaptive. Amplified units are available Intrinsically Safe, with ATEX, FM and CSA approvals. Other choices include convenient side-mounted zero and span potentiometers, buffered shunt calibration, and CE marking.

The FP2000 series features an operating temperature of -10° to 200°F and a compensated range from 40° to 140° F. These rugged units are fully welded, constructed from Hastelloy C276 and 316L stainless steel, and offer excellent overpressure tolerance

Rugged, High Accuracy Pressure Transducer

Product 1Many applications for pressure transducers involve harsh outdoor conditions which include extremes in heat, vibration and moisture. The Honeywell Sensotec Model TJE pressure transducer survives these conditions as it provides 0.1% F.S. accuracy and superior thermal stability of less than ±0.0025% F.S. / °F. Hermetic, all-welded stainless steel construction and superior vibration resistance makes this one of the most reliable sensors on the market today.

The TJE is available in ranges from 0-1 to 0-60,000 psi. and a variety of outputs are offered, including 3mV/V (standard), with optional 0-5 VDC and 4-20 mA for interfacing into existing systems. Intrinsically safe models are offered with CSA, ATEX, and FM approvals.

The Model TJE comes in Absolute or True Gage configurations, with many ranges in stock for immediate shipment.
