TMS 9000 Torque Measurement System
Designed For Today And Tomorrow!
When
conditions are tough, Honeywell’s Lebow torque sensors are
tougher. For years sensor operators in varied applications have
acknowledged the unequaled accuracy, durability and quality built
into each Lebow sensor.
The advanced generation of rotary transformer sensors, a non-contact
telemetry system, is designed to operate in the digital domain for
enhanced accuracy and versatility.
Features of the TMS9000 Torque Measurement System are threefold:
1)
Flexible Mechanical Format:
• Variety of mating flange and designs: DIN,SAE, coupling,
custom
• No hoop antenna
• Enhanced torsional stiffness
• Low rotating inertia
• Encapsulated rotor electronics module enhances protection
against vibration, G-force and chemicals
2) Electrical:
• 19 bit digital telemetry
• 6 standard analog, digital and frequency outputs
• Resolution: 16 Bits, 65,536 counts
• Frequency Response: 2800 Hz Fastmode
• Add on interfaces: Ethernet, CANopen, USB, PC104
• True shunt cal feature
• NEMA 4/ IP65 rated
3) Software:
• Full software setup (no potentiometers or switches)
• Software selectable full scale range feature
• 9-point linearization feature
• Multi-digital filter feature
• Simple ASCII communications protocol
There are additional benefits of the TMS9000 Torque Measurement
System:
• Enhanced accuracy – system error = .05% FS
• Expansion capabilities with PC104 cards
• “On the fly” setup
• Custom mating flanges allows for extra versatility
• Can handle large capacities
• Enhanced resolution allows for large measurement range
• Setup and calibration information is stored in parameter
files to allow for repeatability of test conditions
• Enhances performance, flexibility and potential applications
• Reduces installation time, product weight and size, initial
cost and cost of ownership
